What was built?

Venezuela Juntos is a humanitarian face-matching web app designed to reunite Venezuelan families separated by disaster or displacement.

How it works

  • Families upload a photo of a missing person with their name
  • Rescuers upload a photo of someone they have found along with a contact phone number or email
  • The system automatically compares faces using AI-powered ArcFace recognition
  • Any pair exceeding the similarity threshold appears on the public Matches page with the rescuer's contact details
  • The app is fully bilingual, Spanish (default) and English

Who is it for?

Rescuers, volunteers, NGOs, and families searching for loved ones in Venezuelan disaster or displacement scenarios.
